These motif developments were part of my one project. Here my task was making some motifs manually by using any natural shape. So I choose the ‘Turtle” shape because my behavior is very familiar to itself. Sometime I feel like it is my spirit animal. They are very calm and never harm nature.
I design these unique 5 motif base on one of my favorite series that I love most. That was “AVATAR:The Last Airbander“.
This whole project I completed with media of watercolor, poster color, pencil color, water prof gel pen and a lot of dedication.
I decorated this turtle with the theme of “Water Bander”. Here, the ocean blue indicates liquid water and the navy blue color indicates floating ice. The border lines on the turtle shield indicate ocean waves, and the inside shield shapes indicate underwater coral life.
I made this design with the inspiration of “Fire Bender”. Here the Baison brown color on the legs and head shows that they can show their powers only on earth. The little spread part of yellow color represents floating rocks on lava. I know lava’s color might be red-orange, but making a good rhythm I just made it yellow. At the turtle shield, I show black color as a night in the sky with defiantly not working their powers at that time. But in the daytime when the sunrise, they became powerful and rise again with full of energy.
This turtle has both the abilities of fire and water banding. So, we can say that this turtle is more powerful than the other two. This one has the beauty of water and is also aggressive like fire.
This motif explores the balance between Water and Earth. The fluid blue forms represent movement and adaptability, while the earthy tones symbolize strength and stability. The turtle-inspired composition combines organic forms with geometric elements, creating a visual representation of harmony between contrasting natural forces.
This Design is inspired by the philosophy of Yin & Yang, This motif explores the balance between Day and Night. Bright colors and playful landscapes represent the energy of daylight, while darker elements symbolize the calm and mystery of night. The composition reflects how two contrasting forces can coexist in harmony, balance, and continuity.
